ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA – August 29, 2008 - Ultralink/XLO Products Inc., among the industry's fastest growing manufacturers of premium A/V connectivity and AC power management products, announces the availability of the ULTRAPOWER^® POWERSOURCE™ PS-103 HD Wall Tap, a compact AC power protector suitable for installation in the space behind a wall-mounted flat-panel television.  The PS-103 joins the growing UltraPower^® line of AC power management, filtration and surge protection products. The PS-103 will be on display at CEDIA Expo, in Ultralink/XLO’s Booth 332.

    The PS-103 saves space and adds flexibility by placing its 3 AC outlets on the unit’s sides.  One outlet rotates 90° to accommodate almost any plug.  Two bidirectional DSS RF connectors also rotate 90° for maximum flexibility and versatility.

    Rated at 1,080 Joules, the PS-103 provides an energy absorbing "shield" around connected components, protecting them from dangerous and polluted AC conditions that can affect performance and cause long term damage.

    Ultralink’s proprietary X3™ MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology provides common and normal mode protection from high-energy spikes. Unlike most surge protection products, the exclusive Fail-Open Safety Shutdown Circuitry™ is an advanced feature that automatically cuts off power to protect connected components in the event of a catastrophic surge.
