Nørager, Denmark, August 7th 2008, LEKTOR^®, slated to hit the shops in early Fall, is the latest addition to the acclaimed DALI^® loudspeaker line-up. To live up to the hottest interior decorating trends, all seven models have been designed in close collaboration with a leading European design agency. The series is developed to suit a wide variety of needs, ranging from a compact stereo setup to more elaborate home cinema installations.

    The LEKTOR^® Series is a strong new contender in the very challenging mid-price segment. All key components in the LEKTOR^® Series are newly developed, implementing advanced technologies and materials originally introduced in the more costly and multi award winning IKON^® Series to deliver class leading sonic performance.

    In keeping with DALI^® tradition and philosophy, the development of the drivers has been crucial to the extraordinary final result. The woofers incorporate wood fiber cones, low-loss suspensions and powerful magnet systems – all prerequisites for clear, accurate, undistorted sound. The soft dome tweeters are based on the same technology platform developed for the IKON^® Series: 28 mm (1.1”) lightweight soft domes, powerful magnet systems and a geometrical design optimized for wide dispersion. As a result, the tweeter system is able to render the subtlest musical details with great precision.
